Micah began his career in financial services in 2007 with AXA Advisors, serving as an insurance and investment professional. He built a practice centered on a consultative approach, educating clients in financial matters and communicating effective, well thought-out plans to help them meet their needs. In 2011 Micah was promoted to Divisional Vice President. In this role Micah was responsible for the recruitment, training, and mentorship of new financial advisors hired by the firm. Micah left AXA Advisors in January of 2013 and founded AD Financial Partners, an independent financial services firm.
Micah received his B.S. in Business Administration from Westminster College, and his certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.** Micah is often invited back to his alma mater, Westminster College, to talk to current students and faculty about his experiences as a financial advisor. In 2016 Micah completed the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning at Duquesne University.
Micah is a Trustee, and the Treasurer of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Pittsburgh. He has served on the board of The Ligonier Camp & Conference Center, and is on the Board of Governors of Shannopin Country Club, currently serving as President of the Board. Micah is married to Emilie, an attorney, they live in a historic home in Ben Avon, PA with their daughters Marah, Maelyn, and Miriam.
